Scarlets’ big Boxing Day number scrapes into Top 20

THE Boxing Day crowds at Cardiff and Llanelli did more than underline the folly of the PRO14’s decision to leave the fans with nowhere to go on the same day last year. More than 13,500 turned out for the Scarlets’ romp against Ospreys and a thousand fewer at the Arms Park to see the Blues edge past the Dragons.
