Blues get green light for Williams

CARDIFF Blues have won their appeal to retain No.8 Nick Williams for next season.
Kiwi Williams, 35, was due to come out of contract at the end of the month. Blues had seen two appeals to keep him turned down by the PGB –which is made up of WRU and regional representatives.
They had said he did not fit the mould of player the Blues should be looking at.
But following a third meeting it has been agreed Williams will stay at the Blues for one more season.
