Goode crowned best in Europe

ALEX GOODE was last night named the best player in Europe after Saracens’ Champions Cup win to pile more pressure on England head coach Eddie Jones ahead of his World Cup training squad announcement.
The Saracens full-back is likely to join company with Steffon Armitage and Nick Abendanon as winners of the award who remained frozen out by England head coaches despite scintillating form for their clubs.
Goode has won 21 caps for his country but has featured only twice in an England team under Jones, against Italy and Fiji in 2016.
