Stirling signs on for second stint at ambitious Pirates

DEPARTING Yorkshire Carnegie DoR Chris Stirling will return to the UK in six weeks’ time excited to be a part of a project built on solid foundations not false promises.
Stirling has agreed a three-year deal to become the director of rugby at the Cornish Pirates, where he was high performance director from 2009 and 2012.
A serious tilt at promotion to the Premiership is the aim, the same ambition held by Yorkshire Carnegie until their main investor pulled out.
