A LAST minute penalty from Sam Davies gave Ospreys a Champions Cup play-off spot after Blues made two crucial errors.
A draw would have been enough for Blues to pip Ospreys for the play-off but Gareth Anscombe skewed a straightforward penalty and Jarrod Evans missed a crucial touch to give Ospreys a chance to attack.
It was particularly rough justice on Anscombe, who was faultless throughout, but his miss gifted Ospreys, the side he joins in the summer, a golden chance to be in Europe’s Premier competition.
