Trophy hunter Cordero pins hopes on Pumas recall

WING wizard Santiago Cordero believes a Premiership- winning finale with Exeter could open the door to an Argentina recall ahead of the World Cup.
Cordero, a star of Argentina’s World Cup campaign in 2015, looked to have ruled himself out of Test rugby after joining the Chiefs from Los Jaguares last season.
However, with Pumas head coach Mario Ledesma recently outlining plans to recall some Europe-based stars, Bordeaux-bound Cordero told The Rugby Paper: “I have spoken to Mario and he knows I’m playing well so hopefully he will keep watching.
