Jenkins: Injuries won’t derail Wales’ bid

ELLIS Jenkins believes he has laid down a World Cup marker after a summer to remember.
Jenkins was Wales cocaptain alongside Cory Hill as Warren Gatland’s side sealed Test victories over South Africa and twice against Argentina.
The three-match tour provided Gatland with a chance to look at some of his younger players and Jenkins was one of a number to impress.
He told TRP: “It was an opportunity to put your hand up and try to be in the mix for World Cup selection.
