Gloucester have confirmed that Tom Hudson has agreed a new contract with the Cherry and Whites.
The 23-year-old has made a good impression during his time at the club after graduating into the first team squad this season, making his Aviva Premiership debut in November, scoring a try in the home win over Saracens at Kingsholm.
Director of Rugby David Humphreys is delighted to confirm the news today:
“Tom has been an important member of our squad this season, and we’re delighted that we have agreed a deal for him to stay with us to continue his development at Gloucester.
“He has taken every challenge head on, and has looked comfortable playing in several positions across the backline,
Hudson said of the new deal: “I’m chuffed to be staying at the club, I’ve really enjoyed my rugby and know that we have a lot of exciting times ahead.
“Johan has been true to his word that he will put faith in younger players when appropriate, and I’ve enjoyed my development across the season and taking my opportunities.
“It’s a great environment to be in, challenging players to get better every day, and I’m where I want to be.
“The supporters have been fantastic to play in front of, and I’m excited to keep doing that going forward.”
