Pivac eyes back row ace Wells

SCARLETS have targeted Waratahs back row Michael Wells as a solution to their No.8 problem.
Wayne Pivac’s side will lose Scotland captain John Barclay to Edinburgh at the end of the season and missed out on primary target Ross Moriarty who opted to join the Dragons.
Pivac has three options to sign at No.8 and The Rugby Paper understands Wells is among the men in consideration. The 24-year-old Australian 7s international was the Waratahs’ starting No.8 last season and is also comfortable at blindside.
