Both Isa Nacewa (35) and Richardt Strauss (32) are set to retire at the end of the current season Leo Cullen has confirmed. The announcement comes ahead of the club's awards evening, where both will be acknowledged by Leinster rugby, along with the retiring Jamie Heaslip and Jordi Murphy, who is leaving to join Ulster.
Nacewa, who will be retiring for a second time, after first hanging up his boots in 2013, has been capped 182 times for Leinster since his debut in September 2008 and is bringing the curtain down on an illustrious career in Dublin, which to date includes three Heineken Cups, a Challenge Cup and a PRO12 title.
Strauss, who made his debut in February 2010, has also had a profound impact on the club winning two Heineken Cups, a Challenge Cup and two PRO12 titles in his time with Leinster and has represented Ireland on 17 occasions including three appearances at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
Cullen rejoiced about both players' influence on the club,“It is hard to articulate the impact that both Isa and Richardt have had on this club since their arrival.
“Warriors on the pitch and wonderful men off it, they are, in my opinion, two of the best players to have ever worn the blue jersey. Their impact on this group of players will be felt for years to come.

There would be no better way for Isa Nacewa to bow out than to help Leinster to a fourth Champions/Heineken Cup.
Pro14 title also a strong possibility. He has been a huge part of Leinster's history, influential way beyond just being a brilliant player.
