Springboks hooker Bismarck du Plessis will miss the rest of The Rugby Championship due to a knee injury.
He sustained the injury in last Saturday’s test against Argentina in Cape Town and scans have revealed serious damage to ligaments in his right knee.
The 28-year-old didn’t travel with the team in Argentina and will have surgery today in South Africa.
