Dan Murphy has joined Harlequins with immediate effect.
The loosehead joins after five years at Gloucester where he made 98 appearances. Prior to his time at Kingsholm, the 30 year-old made over 80 appearances for London Irish.
He said: “I’m really excited to be involved with Harlequins, it is a great club with an impressive set up. I’ve always admired the way Harlequins play.
“Every player is encouraged to get their hands on the ball and play. I’m excited to be a part of that and get going for the new season.”
Director of Rugby John Kingston added: “I am delighted that Dan has chosen to join Harlequins, he will bring a wealth of experience in a key area for the team.”
