Henry Trinder will be ruled out of playing action for the “foreseeable future” after undergoing surgery on his right knee.
The 27-year-old centre battled back to fitness last season following an injury to the same knee in February 2015 but suffered a new injury towards the end of the season.
The new injury is not as severe as the previous one but surgical repair was deemed to be necessary.
