Peter Stringer pens new Sale deal

Peter Stringer has extended his career for another year signing a new contract with Sale Sharks.
The record holding Irish scrum-half who earned 98 caps during his time at Munster has been an inspired signing by Steve Diamond this season after spells at Saracens, Newcastle and Bath.
He said: “I’m delighted to have agreed a new deal. I am loving my rugby at Sale Sharks. It’s a great environment and we have some very talented players at the club. The opportunity to get regular game time has given me a new lease of life”
Director of rugby Diamond added: “Peter is a model professional who is incredibly fit and shows no signs of getting old.
“He has brought our backline to life this season. He is a very well respected member of our squad and the younger lads have all benefitted from Peter being here.”
