Jack Lam commits future to Bristol

Jack Lam has resisted the temptation to move to and instead signed a new-two year contract with heavyweights .
The Samoan flanker, who joined at the start of last season, was rumoured to be on many Top14 clubs shopping list but he will now remain at Ashton Gate until at least 2018.

He said: “It was an easy decision to commit my future to the Club. I'm really enjoying my rugby here and have a good relationship with the coaches and my team-mates.
“We have unfinished business at Bristol and I'm determined to help the team achieve our ambitions of reaching the top flight. Everything is in place to make that goal a reality if we work hard, so I'm excited about what the future holds.”
Director of Rugby Andy Robinson commented: “We're really pleased to retain Jack's services. It underlines the ambition of the club and the direction we are going.
“Jack showed in his performances at the that he can compete with the best players in the world.
“Anybody who has played with or against Jack knows just how good a player he is and we look forward to seeing him continue to progress in a Bristol shirt.”
