Alesana Tuilagi will miss Saturday’s World Cup match with Scotland after receiving a five-week ban for striking an opponent with the knee.
The Newcastle wing, who will also miss the start of the Premiership as a result of the ban, was found guilty of going into a tackle from Japan‘s Harumichi Tatekawa leading with his knee.
