Liam Williams faces a race against time to be fit for the World Cup after undergoing foot surgery.
The Scarlets flyer will remain in camp after taking care of a foot complaint but should he miss out, it would be another blow to Warren Gatland’s side who have already lost Jonathan Davies to a knee injury last month.
No timescale has been issued regarding how long it will take for Williams to return but the final 31-man World Cup squad will be named by August 31.
