London Welsh No.8 Chris Hala’ufia has been suspended for five weeks following his red card against Leicester Tigers last Saturday.
The Tongan was dismissed after hitting opposite number Laurence Pearce with a high tackle and then shoving Pearce’s face on the turf as he got was laying on the ground.
The imposed sanction will encompass the remaining two rounds of the Premiership and the start of the 2015-16 season.
