Ben Morgan faces a race against the clock to be fit for the World Cup after suffering a broken leg on Friday.
The England No.8 was stretched off during Gloucester‘s clash against Saracens at Kingsholm and underwent surgery on Saturday morning.
He is believed to have had a metal plate and nine screws inserted into his left leg and is likely to be out for six months with the World Cup starting in September.
