“To join Gloucester is a great honour, especially to join my international team-mates and I'm looking forward to the challenge.”
Director of Rugby David Humphreys added: “David will bring something different to what we already have at the club and provides some cover for the loss of James Simpson-Daniel and, more recently, the departure of Tom Isaacs. We've watched him for some time and obviously had the chance to see him first hand during Tonga's recent internationals.
“We're looking forward to welcoming him on board, adding more international quality to the squad and seeing him contribute for what is an exciting second half of the season.”
