Saints led 28-3 at the break thanks to tries from Will Hooley, who also kicked 13 points from the tee, Alex Waller and Ken Pisi while Juan Pablo Socino put the Falcons on the board with a penalty.
The home side rallied in the second half through Noah Cato but George North secured the win and the try bonus-point for the champions.
