Just before they took off for the Gold Coast and the opening round of the HSBC World Series, our online editor Nick Verdier caught up with the newly appointed England Sevens head coach Simon Amor and player Chris Cracknell.
Amor admits the job was always an ambition of his while pleading fans to give his side time to adjust to the new systems before they can be successful again.
Meanwhile, Cracknell remembers what it was like to train without a head coach this summer but vows England will showcase their blistering pace Down Under.
