On top of receiving a one-week ban yesterday, Ryan Lamb could be out for six weeks after breaking his hand in a fight on Monday.
The Leicester Tigers fly-half exchanged blows with Gloucester hooker Koree Britton at Kingsholm in an A-League game which they were both sent off for and hit with a ban.
But it seems Lamb’s spell on the sidelines will be longer than expected as he broke a bone in his hand which left Tigers boss Richard Cockerill less than impressed.
He said: “Ryan has broken his hand and is in the dog house.”
Britton, who pleaded not guilty, has been banned for four weeks.
