James Comben banned for doping

Hawks centre James Comben has been suspended for six months for an Anti Doping violation by the .
The National League Two South player tested positive for Methylhexanamine (MHA), a prohibited stimulant, after appearing for A against Braves in the Aviva A League match between the sides at Henley last November.
Comben was temporary suspended in December while waiting for the outcome of the hearing and the disciplinary panel suspended him from December 21, 2012 until June 20, 2013. He is free to play again on June 21.
Judge Blackett said: “There has been an enormous amount of publicity about doping in recent years and a player who plays in the RFU National Leagues or in the A team of a professional side must know that he is responsible for all substances ingested.”
