Young Guns: Bristol Bears full-back Matt Jones

After enduring a brutal pre-season, Matt Jones is hoping to capitalise on the mass exodus at Bristol Bears and become a first team player.
Jones, 20, has made two appearances in the Premiership Cup for Bristol but with 21 players having left Ashton Gate this summer the versatile back three player is hoping he can make his mark this season.
“There’s big opportunities for the young lads now to play,” Jones said. “All pre-season it’s been about us boys stepping up and making the transition this year.”
