Winning the Premiership with Bath last year felt like the perfect way to end one chapter of my rugby career.

When we lifted the Prem trophy and then drove through Bath on the open-top bus, it was one of those moments where you stop and think, “How on earth did I end up here?”
From a gap year in New Zealand to an Olympic silver medal, England caps, playing at a Rugby World Cup and finally becoming a Premiership champion, as well as a Prem Cup and Challenge Cup winner in the same season, it’s been some ride.
