Representing Sale Sharks, my boyhood club, will always be the thing I’m proudest of most in rugby.
I grew up supporting them with my family at Edgeley Park, watching the players I idolised.
To then go on and pull on that jersey myself, for seven years, was a dream come true.
That was the club that shaped me, the place where my life-long ambition was realised, and when I look back on everything I’ve done in rugby, nothing tops that.
