England will beat Fiji, but performance is key says Mike Tindall 

Mike Tindall has challenged Stuart Lancaster's troops to beat Fiji in style on Friday night to build momentum and send fear into their Pool A rivals.
The 2003 World Cup hero says victory is naturally the most important thing, but a good performance will go some way to building the confidence needed to overcome the tougher opposition that await.
Tindall told The Rugby Paper: “I see England winning on Friday, not overly comfortably, but more comfortable than people think.
“England should dominate possession and territory and hopefully take advantage when the game opens up a bit later on. I think Fiji will score a couple because of the x-factor and the power and the pace they have in that team; but England will out scrummage them, out maul them and wear them down and take their legs away.
“The win and the performance is just as important to the crowd. You want to get the crowd excited by putting in a quality showing. Then people will start believing we can go all the way if they see evidence on the field.
“That changes the atmosphere around the stadium and also changes the belief in the squad. They'll know if they are now in a good place, playing well and are comfortable in their own skin.
“Obviously you would take the win – but ideally take a win with a performance.”
The Brad Barritt-Jonathan Joseph centre partnership is the best pairing at Stuart Lancaster's disposal now says Tindall but he has reservations about the selection of Sam Burgess on the bench.
Asked if England may be lacking options, significantly a gas man on the pine, Tindall, right, said: “I literally think the exact same thing. I would have had Jack Nowell on the bench because he can cover 13 as well if needs be. And then instead of changing three positions if one player goes down, you just go like for like.
“They clearly want Sam Burgess around for what he does around the team but you've got to with Barritt and JJ in the middle.”
New Zealand remain the team to beat according to Tindall, but he is adamant England have the quality to go all the way if the parts come together as they did in that famous autumn victory in 2012.
“England genuinely can't look past each game,” Tindall adds. “The first two games against Fiji and Wales are crucial. If they win them both they will know one more win will see them into the quarter finals, with no disrespect to Uruguay.
“It will give England time to rotate players and give everyone game time. But if they lose a game it suddenly comes down to points and you've got to go full metal gear again for Uruguay to rack up a cricket score.
“It's a massive group but it's something they've known for a long time. They've just got to get out and do it. I can't look past New Zealand for the title unfortunately, they just look too strong- but England are capable, it's just about getting that perfect day to actually beat them.”
