Brett Herron

Dream Team: Biarritz and ex-Harlequins fly-half Brett Herron

Brett Herron, the new signing and former , Jersey, fly-half, chooses the best XV he has played with or against.

1. Unbelievable player, close to 80 minutes every game and is also an infectious character off the field who never fails to make you laugh.

2. Scott Baldwin A real student of the game. Knows more than most people I've met about how the game is played. One of the nicest, humblest men I've had the pleasure of playing with.

3. Will Stuart A huge unit of a man who thrives in the tight areas of the game. Always a challenge to play against (, ) and absolute comic off the field.

4. Stephan Lewies Oh captain my captain. A true leader of men at Quins and a huge part of our -winning season this year.

5. Kieran Treadwell –A big dynamic lock at Quins who can run through you or step either side. One of the best men I've played with and had the pleasure of living with.

6. Marcell Coetzee Played together at Ulster and he is a monster of a man who's physicality is second to none.

7. Will Evans Otherwise referred to as “The Clamp, The Taskmaster or Sid from Ice Age”. He's one of the best I've ever seen over the ball. Sadly picked up an injury towards the end of the season otherwise I'm sure he would have worn a white shirt this summer.

8. Alex Dombrandt – The Croydon Fijian. There's not a lot this man can't do on a rugby field. His running lines are disgustingly good and he has a skill set to match. Has a try-scoring ratio most wingers would be proud of.

9. Danny Care A gentleman of the game. Never fazed or flustered. One of the nicest men off the field who has time for everyone. It's a real privilege to have played with him.

10. Marcus Smith The Lion! That's got a ring to it. His accolades this season are testament to how he prepares and looks after himself. A goose step that's untouchable and a boot that rarely misses. A good mate who is going to do unbelievable things in the game.

11. Charles Piutau A left foot step that strikes fear into any opponent. A beautiful hybrid of pure power and filthy finesse in his game. Was great to share a pitch with him at Ulster.

12. Andre Esterhuizen – Many confuse him as a onetrick pony due to his devastating carrying ability, but he's got silky hands as well as a rocket of a left boot.

13. Max Clark – Great defensively and a brute with ball in hand for Bath. Never a dull moment with him off the field either.

14. Gabriel Ibitoye Can beat you in a phone box with natural finishing ability. An asset for any team.

15. Mike Brown The G.O.A.T! The most competitive and ruthless player on the field, and one of the softest-spoken, nicest people off the field. Has time for everyone, sharing all the knowledge and experience he has in abundance. He keeps getting better and better, too.
