Sale have recruited Le Roux Roets, a second row enforcer for Sharks in the URC, to replace Cobus Wiese who is returning to South Africa with the Bulls in the summer.
Roets, 29, who stands at a towering 6ft 8ins, is well travelled, having played for the Bulls, Racing 92, Waratahs, and Pumas before arriving at the Sharks in 2020.
He has made three URC appearancespearances this season and is now fully fit after an injury-hit campaign.
