Freshwater tempted by Montpellier

Former England loosehead Perry Freshwater, below, is in advanced talks about a switch to join the Montpellier coaching staff when his contract with Perpignan runs out at the end of the season.

New Zealand-born Freshwater, 50, who also operated occasionally at hooker spent eight years with Leicester Tigers before moving to Perpignan in 2003, where he spent the rest of his playing career.
