Hooper in line for Lions role

The Lions could appoint former Bath director of rugby and England Saxons second row Stuart Hooper as their team manager for their 2025 tour to Australia.
Ivybridge College educated Hooper, 41, below, who was born in Exeter, played for Saracens, Leeds Carnegie – where he won a Powergen Cup in 2005 – and Bath before moving into coaching at The Rec.

He was the Bath’s general manager before leaving the club this summer after 15 years and is looking for another role within the game and is believed to have spoken to the Lions about joining their staff.
