After Ribbans, Toulon set their sights on Ludlam

ON THE BLINDSIDE
Toulon are eyeing a move for England and Northampton back row Lewis Ludlam – who is out of contract at the end of the season – after he caught the eye at the World Cup in France.
They lured Northampton second row David Ribbans to the Cote d’Azur ahead of this season  and are now looking to follow it up with a move for Ludlam, who has made 113 appearances and scored 15 tries for the Saints.
Ipswich-born Ludlam, 27, who can play anywhere in the back row, has been watched by several Top 14 outfits during the World Cup, but Toulon will become the first to make a firm offer.
