Jonny doesn’t quite hit mark

Jonny Wilkinson’s shirt from England’s 2003 World Cup Final win failed to match expectations at a recent sale of memorabilia held by auctioneers Graham Budd.
The No 10 shirt worn in the first half was donated by Wilkinson to raise funds for five charities and was expected to fetch between £40,000 and £60,000 but instead went for £30,000.
A pair of boots that he wore in 2002 and that had an estimate of between £7,000 to £10,000 didn’t sell, while Phil Vickery’s World Cup-winning shirt reached the lowest end of its £10,000 £15,000 estimate.
