Biarritz to keep on spending

Biarritz Olympique are poised to step in and continue the spending splurge that their president Jean-Baptiste Aldigé had planned for Agen before calling off his takeover and deciding to stay on the Basque coast.
Former England outside centre Jonathan Joseph, pictured, was set to leave Bath for Agen until the plug was pulled on the takeover and will be playing for Biarritz instead.
Aldigé is also poised to snap up Wales and Lions scrum-half Rhys Webb, who quit Warren Gatland’s squad 100 days before the World Cup, and former Wales international centre Tyler Morgan.
