ON THE BLINDSIDE

Fijian Olympic gold medalist Semi Radradra, above, has agreed to join Lyon on a two-year deal when his contract with the Premiership‘s basement dwellers Bristol Bears runs out at the end of the season.
Radradra took advantage of a free weekend a fortnight ago to travel to France for talks and to have an extensive medical to prove that long-standing knee problems wouldn’t be a problem.
The 30-year-old, who had spells in France with Toulon and Bordeaux, after switching codes from the Parramatta Eels, scored 14 tries in 46 appearances since joining the Bears three years ago.
They managed to hang on to him a year ago when he was put on the wanted list of the Queensland Dolphins who are entering Australia‘s NRL this year, but the lure of a switch to Lyon appears to be harder to resist.
