ON THE BLINDSIDE
The chances of England centre Joe Marchant, above, moving to Stade Francais next season have been put at 50-50, according to a Blindside source.
The Harlequins star, who spent a season playing for the Blues in Super Rugby, is in advanced talks with Stade where his former Stoop boss Paul Gustard is on the coaching staff.
Stade are keen to sign a top-class centre next summer, but the appointment of France's backs coach Laurent Labit after the World Cup could see a rethink of a move for Marchant.
“There have been talks, but I have no idea what will happen. It's 50-50,” our French source told us.
