Lewis one of nine to leave Worcester

WELSH openside Sam Lewis is leaving Worcester with a ‘heavy heart’ after not being offered a new contract. Lewis, 31, who was part of the squad that lifted the Premiership Cup in May, arrived at Sixways from Ospreys in March 2015. He has made 121 appearances, scoring 13 tries. “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and I will leave with a heavy heart,” Lewis said. “That’s the nature of professional rugby I suppose.
