Off to Draons: Lonsdale
THE DRAGONS have lined up a move to take Exeter Chiefs lock Sean Lonsdale to Rodney Parade when his contract runs out this summer.
Manchester-born Lonsdale, 24, joined the Chiefs in 2016 from Welsh Premier Division outfit RGC 1404 and was loaned out to Taunton and Plymouth Albion.
He is set to become the latest lock to leave Sandy Park following the departures of Jonny Hill and Sam Skinner, to Sale Sharks and Edinburgh respectively, announced earlier this week. Lonsdale, who has made 57 appearances for the Chiefs, is understood to be close to agreeing terms with Dragons boss Dean Ryan.
