Agents set to ramp up pressure on clubs

AGENTS are calling for club recruitment chiefs to educate their owners in a bid to find a solution to the row over player fees that is causing havoc with recruitment plans.
Talks between the Association of Rugby Agents and Premiership Rugby are continuing, but there is little hope of a breakthrough before they are due to go to mediation next month.
Blindside understands that agents’ chiefs are hoping to ramp up the pressure in the next couple of weeks with French, Irish and Welsh clubs finalising their budgets for next season.
