Chocolate teapot jibe from Goode at agents’ boss

ON THE BLIND SIDE

ANDY Goode, left, last week launched a stinging attack on Association of Rugby Agents chairman Mark Spoors, right, calling on him to leave the organisation as the row with Rugby over the payments of fees rumbles on. Goode, who ironically was a client of the agency Spoors cofounded, said: “From my experience, Mark Spoors is as useful as a chocolate teapot. The first thing agents need to do is get rid of him.”

A meeting between the agents, Premiership Rugby, the and Rugby Players Association last week broke up without any agreement being reached and will convene again at the end of the month.
