Exeter Chiefs wing Alex Cuthbert

Dream Team: Exeter Chiefs and Wales wing Alex Cuthbert

Chiefs, , and former Blues and Hartpury wing Alex Cuthbert chooses a best XV based on those he has faced or played alongside in his career…

1. Gethin Jenkins – He literally covered every area of the field when he played and had the biggest engine I've ever seen on a prop, with a fantastic skill-set to match.

2. Dane Coles – Mobile, yet very powerful hooker who's one of the world's best. Another who could make a real impact on the pitch, he was very tough to defend against.

3. Adam Jones – In his prime, ‘Bomb' was literally unplayable. He would destroy opponents, win you penalties and hold up a scrum like no other player I've ever seen.

4. Bakkies Botha – I've never been hit as hard on a rugby field than by this guy. A ruthless man-mountain of a second row who offered a physicality I've never seen before.

5. Brad Thorn – Another like Botha, a huge on-field presence who brought physicality, strength and experience to any side he played in. Honourable mention for Jonny Hill, who as well as being a top player is a top bloke and an excellent tipster!

6. Jerry Collins – This was probably my hardest choice, but he just edges out my Exeter teammate Dave Ewers. Both of them are absolute monsters on the field.

7. Richie McCaw – One of the best players to ever grace the game, an absolute animal on the field. He commanded respect both from his teammates and the opposition with his actions.

8. Toby Faletau – I've been lucky enough to play a lot of games with this guy, winning a Grand Slam and also being on the 2013 tour in , where he was simply epic.

9. Fourie du Preez – The smartest nine I've come up against, you just never knew what he was going to do. Special mention to Lloyd Williams and Mike Phillips.

10. Dan Carter – This guy is simply the best. He had everything in his locker, kicked like a dream and would always perform to his highest level on the biggest of stages.

11. Joe Rokocoko – Played with him with the and what a top performer. Unbelievable hands and skills, he had an offload to die for and was simply rapid.

12. Jamie Roberts – Former teammate with the Blues and Wales and nobody hits a line quite like him. A proven performer, he'd also be upset if I didn't include him!

13. Jean de Villiers – Big, physical winner and a player who would always cause you problems. Must give a big mention to Jonathan ‘Foxy' Davies as well.

14. Digby Ioane – I played against him in my first Test and was very nervous coming up against him because I knew just how dangerous a player he was.

15. Israel Dagg – Absolutely class for the for years. At times he was unplayable and a real class act. However, he was run close for this spot by Stuart Hogg and Leigh Halfpenny.
