Rio Dyer’s first Junior World Cup experience with Wales U20s ended in agony in June when he dislocated his left shoulder 15 minutes into their first match against Australia.
However, that should not detract from an otherwise stellar season for the Newport-born and bred speedster, who is well down the road to recovery and ready to turn up the heat on regular Dragons wingers Ashton Hewitt, Dafydd Howells, George Gasson and Jared Rosser.
