Ben joined The Rugby Paper in December 2021 as assistant editor.

During his time at TRP he has covered all levels of rugby from Aberavon to the All Blacks - you name a league, he has covered it!

Ben’s role at the paper involves interviewing players/coaches, booking reporters/photographers and managing the Young Guns and Dream Team columns.

Having played the sport at school and university, it was no surprise to his former team-mates that he was destined for covering the sport due to his incredible passion for it.

However, they will likely be relieved that his playing days are done due to his lack of coordination and talent.

He now largely spends his free time trying to play tennis - a much safer sport.
