Ireland got their WXV 3 campaign off to the perfect start with a 17-try rout of Kazakhstan in Scott Bemand’s first match as head coach.
It was a record triumph for the side that finished at the foot of the Six Nations table earlier this year.
Dominating the game from start to finish, Ireland’s first score came in the second minute when tighthead prop Christy Haney rode several attempted tackles to cross beneath the posts before Meabh Deely and Eve Higgins followed suit.
