Freddie Steward has given the new Six Nations format the thumbs-up despite it cutting down rest time for players.

Next weekend’s games, when England face Ireland, will see the tournament then take a week off before the final two rounds.
In recent years, the third round has had a weekend off before it and after it, leaving players in limbo and the action on pause.
