Sonny Bill nears full fitness in stint with Counties

NEW ZEALAND centre Sonny Bill Williams says he is happy with how his stint with Counties Manukau has gone as he builds towards a Test comeback.
Williams got through a full game in Counties 34-29 Mitre 10 Cup defeat to Taranaki yesterday.
This was his second 80- minute performance in as many weeks after also playing in their pre-season ‘game of three halves’ runout with Wellington and Bay of Plenty last week.
He also played for 60 minutes in New Zealand’s 16-16 draw with the Springboks in Wellington on July 27.
