Kremer blow for Argentina

Los Pumas are set to be without banned backrower Marcos Kremer for the entire Rugby Championship campaign.

Kremer has been banned for five games for his dangerous ruck entry on Finn Russell during the Top 14 quarter-final between Racing 92 and Stade Francais which earned him his third red card of the season.

Kremer has won 56 caps since his debut in 2016 and played in historic wins over New Zealand and England.

His suspension includes three Rugby Championship Tests and World Cup warm-ups against the Springboks. He could return to face Spain if he completes a coaching intervention programme.

Argentina are yet to name their squad for the Rugby Championship.
