Samoa survived a fierce onslaught to hold-off Belgium 13-13 and secure the final qualifying spot for Australia 2027 on a night of high drama in Dubai.
It was a bitter disappointment for Belgium who miss out on a place on try bonus points after remaining undefeated in the tournament thanks to victories against Namibia and Brazil.
Both sides had beaten Namibia and Brazil in the four-team tournament in Dubai, but Samoa earned an extra bonus point along the way, meaning the draw was enough for them to become the 24th and final nation to reach the 2027 showpiece.
