Serin’s late try can’t stop the Boks narrow win

IN A GAME between two under-performing sides it would have been asking a lot for this to be a stand-out game and so it proved in a scrappy, tight affair at the Stade de France.
Two tries by wing Dillyn Leyds and outside centre Jesse Kriel gave the Boks a narrow win but despite France’s ill-discipline the South Africans failed to stamp their authority, while fly-half Handre Pollard missed three penalty-kicks in a row.
